The service, explained

What Is Private Label Coffee?

Private label coffee is coffee produced by a manufacturer and sold under your brand. You own the name, the packaging and the customer relationship. We own the sourcing, roasting, quality control and export paperwork — the capital-heavy part.

For a US coffee brand, retailer or hospitality group, that means launching a proprietary product without buying a roaster, hiring a QC team or negotiating with farmers in Sumatra. You approve a cupping sample and an artwork proof; we handle everything between the cherry and your warehouse door.

Start with a sample request

Private label · full control

Built to your specification

Origin, blend ratio, roast profile, grind, pack format and artwork are all yours to define. Longer development, a product nobody else can copy off the shelf.

White label · fastest launch

Our product, your logo

Choose from proven lots and pack formats and apply your branding. Minimal customization, minimal development time — ideal for a first SKU or a seasonal test.

Not sure which fits? Tell us your volume and shelf date and we will recommend the route that gets you to market first.

From brief to pallet

How the Private Label Coffee Process Works

Five stages, one point of contact. Most programs move from first call to approved production sample inside a few weeks, depending on artwork and shipping mode.

  1. 01

    Discovery

Your market, price point, target volume and shelf-life requirement. We map it to a coffee grade and pack format that holds margin.

  2. 02

    Coffee selection

Cupping with our Q Graders across Sumatra, Java, Bali and Toraja lots. Samples ship to you; you approve the profile before anything scales.

  3. 03

    Packaging & branding

Pack format, valve, size and finish selected; your artwork prepared to print spec. Send a logo or a full dieline — both work.

  4. 04

    Production

Roasting to the approved profile, in-line moisture and defect checks, sealed and coded. Retention samples kept for every batch.

  5. 05

    Export & delivery

Certificate of Origin, phytosanitary and customs paperwork prepared, container booked, tracked to your US warehouse or 3PL.

Customization

Every Variable Is Yours to Set

Custom coffee branding is not just a label. Four decisions define your product — and each one is open, from single-origin Gayo to a capsule line built for US subscription boxes.

Sorting Indonesian green coffee beans by hand

Coffee type

Indonesian Arabica from Sumatra, Java, Bali and Toraja. Robusta for espresso and instant. Wild Luwak for premium tiers. Or a house blend engineered to your cup profile.

Roasted Indonesian coffee beans for private label production

Roast & grind

Light through dark, profiled and repeatable batch to batch. Delivered as green beans, whole bean, or ground to filter, espresso or moka specification.

Private label coffee packaging types: aluminium foil bag, standing pouch and capsules

Custom packaging

Premium aluminium foil for shelf life, standing pouches with valve and zipper for retail, capsules for single-serve. Sizes and finishes to your dieline.

Label design support, origin storytelling and cupping notes for your pack copy, barcode and compliance data placed to print-ready spec.

Why FnB Coffee

A Coffee Production Partner That Owns the Whole Chain

Most private label suppliers buy green coffee on the open market and resell a roast. We grow it in Pakpak Bharat, process it in Aceh, roast and pack it in Medan, and export it ourselves. Fewer hands, fewer margins, one accountable party.

  • True origin, not a trading desk

3,412 hectares of our own plantation and 1,200+ partner farmers — traceable to the block, not just the port.

  • Quality control you can audit

Q Grader cupping reports, screen size, moisture and defect data issued per lot. Retention samples on every batch.

  • Export handled end to end

50+ markets shipped, US and Canada included. Documentation, logistics partners and customs support come with the order.

  • Sustainability that survives due diligence

Rainforest Alliance certified practices, Halal Indonesia, and a farmer network we have invested in since 2012.

Who it is for

Built for Brands That Sell Coffee, Not Roast It

If coffee carries your name but roasting is not your business, private label is the shortest route to a proprietary product.

Coffee brands & roasters

Add single-origin Indonesian SKUs or overflow capacity without adding a second roaster.

Retailers & grocery

Own-brand shelf lines with better margin than the national brand beside them.

Cafés & restaurant groups

An exclusive house blend guests can only buy from you — and take home in retail bags.

Hotels & hospitality

In-room, banquet and gift-shop coffee carrying the property's identity end to end.

DTC & subscription startups

Launch a brand with a credible origin story and no capital tied up in equipment.

FAQ

Private Label Coffee Questions, Answered

Anything not covered here, ask directly — you will get a specific answer, not a brochure.

What is private label coffee?

Coffee we source, roast and pack, sold under your brand. You own the name, packaging and customer; we own sourcing, roasting, QC and export. With private label you also set the specification — origin, roast, grind and pack format.

Private label or white label coffee — which should I choose?

White label applies your logo to an existing product: fastest to shelf, least differentiated. Private label is built to your spec: slightly longer development, a product nobody else can list. Tell us your launch date and we will tell you which is realistic.

Do you ship private label coffee to the United States?

Yes. We export to more than 50 countries including the US and Canada through established freight partners, with Certificate of Origin, phytosanitary certificate and customs documents prepared per shipment. Delivery to your warehouse or 3PL.

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQ depends on the coffee, pack format and artwork. Send your target volume and format; the quotation comes back with MOQ, unit price, lead time and freight options — no vague ranges.

Can I get samples before committing?

Always. We cup candidate lots with our Q Graders and courier samples to you with the cupping report. Nothing goes to production before you approve the profile.

Which certifications do you hold?

Rainforest Alliance certified farming practices, Halal Indonesia, USDA and Fairtrade programs, SCAI and AEKI membership, with Q Grader graded lots. Certificates and cupping reports are available on request for your own compliance file.

Do you help with packaging design?

Yes. Send a logo and we prepare artwork to print spec; send a finished dieline and we produce to it. We also supply origin and cupping copy for the back of pack.

Can you supply green beans instead of roasted?

Yes — many US roasters buy green from us and roast in-house, then use our packing line only for retail bags. Green, roasted, ground and capsule programs can run in parallel under one contract.
